Bio:
Braelen Rashad Evans born on January 26, 1996 in Baton Rouge, La... one of Jerry and Kima Evans’ three children... his father played football at Southern University, while cousins Corey Webster (LSU, New York Giants) and Tyson Jackson (LSU, Kansas City Chiefs/Atlanta Falcons) starred in college football before playing in the NFL. An all-conference cornerback at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas, where he also earned all-district honors at corner (1st team) and running back (2nd team)... 39 tackles, four for a loss, with five pass breakups and two picks as a senior... also broke off a 90-yard TD run as a running back.
Montana State University
Enrolls at Montana State University in 2014 redshirting for the Bobcats. In 2015 missed the season with injury before spring football began. 2016 played in five games as defensive back (cornerback/safety) and special teams guy with 15 tackles, 2 pass breakups, 2 tfl. 2017 begins fall camp as the starting cornerback for the bobcats. Summer 2018 graduates from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health & Human Performance.
Western Oregon University (Graduate Season)
Fall 2019 Braelen Evans enrolls into Western Oregon University for final semester of eligibility. Braelen starts all 11 games and helps lead the Wolves to there first conference championship in school history. The Wolves won a share of the conference championship with a record of (7-4). Braelen recorded stats of 36 tackles, 1 tfl, 8pbus, 2ints for 35 yards as well as being an all conference selection who garnered senior bowl invites from The FCS Bowl and College Gridiron Showcase. Braelen decided to play in the College Gridiron Showcase for his senior bowl.
Pre Draft
In 2020 during Pre-draft Braelen trained at The Mamba Sports Academy located in Frisco, Tx also while receiving interest from multiple NFL teams some including The Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills and The Green Bay Packers. With his pro day being cancelled due to Covid precautions he decided to do a virtual pro day to display his talents in front of scouts via internet.
Pro Level
In 2021 Braelen decided to take his talents to the Indoor Football League as he played for both the Tucson Sugarskulls as well as the Northern Arizon Wranglers. Within his rookie season he recorded 35 tackles (28 solo,7 assists) 1ff, .5 tfl and 8 pbus in 10 games.
