Highlights

Enters the 2021 Fall Season as DSU’s NCAA era career 300-yard game leader (6), and is second in career yards (2,979) and TDs (28), and fifth in completions (199). 

At Dixie State Spring 2021 (COVID-Junior): Started in all five spring games and completed 57.5 percent of his passes (96-167-0) for 1,339 yards and 10 touchdowns … averaged 267.8 yards in the air over those five starts with two 350-yard outings, highlighted by a 373 yard day with a pair of touchdown passes in a hard-fought loss at New Mexico State (3/7), which was his sixth-career 300-yard passing game overall … also tied his career high and DSU single game record with five TD tosses in a 60-0 rout of Fort Lewis (3/27) … completed passes to 14 different receivers, with five of those receivers catching at least one TD pass … did not throw an interception in those 167 attempts and extended his streak without an interception to 28-straight quarters (230 pass attempts) overall … also rushed for 113 yards on 37 attempts with three rushing touchdowns.

At Dixie State 2019 (Redshirt Sophomore): Threw for 1,640 yards and 18 touchdowns in his DSU debut last season ... connected on 54.5 percent (103-189-7) of his throws, highlighted by a 341-yard effort on 18-of-29 attempts for 341 and a school-record tying five touchdowns in DSU’s season ending 35-10 home win over Adams State (11/16), which earned him RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors ... threw for 300-plus yards four times and had at least two touchdown passes in five outings overall ... racked up 336 yards and four TDs vs. Black Hills State (10/5), and threw for three scores against both Fort Lewis (9/14) and Simon Fraser (10/12) ... also rushed for 214 net yards in 48 total attempts with one rushing TD.

At Coffeyville CC (2018): Played in four games and completed 18 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns.

At Brigham Young (2017): Sat out the season as a redshirt.

At Pine View High School: Totaled 9,654 passing yards and 92 touchdowns … two-time first team Utah All-State honoree … named 4A state MVP … also played basketball and baseball, and was a state MVP in basketball and helped lead the Panthers to a state title … graduated in May 2015.

Personal: Born on November 13, 1996 in St. George, Utah … parents are Randy and Roxanne Wilstead … father Randy played baseball collegiately at BYU and professionally in the Montreal Expos organization ... also recruited by San Diego State, Louisville and Southern Utah … favorite team is the Philadelphia Eagles ... favorite athlete is Derek Jeter ... graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in May 2021, and has started a new major in criminal justice.
